How Paradigm Zone started.

Hey {{{FIRST_NAME}}}!

Paradigm Zone opened in October 2024 at 58 Gawler Place, in the middle of the Adelaide CBD. This is the short story of how it got there.

Then vs now Upstairs on opening day, and the same spot today. Tap to drag the slider yourself on our About page, where you can see downstairs too.

It started with a fairly simple observation. Arcades had been a declining market for years. Not much innovation, and not much that makes you stop and think, this is genuinely exciting. We wanted to be that change.

We opened straight out of high school, after about a year and a half of building. For most of that time it was an empty two-level shell in the CBD with a lot of ideas attached to it.

We built instead of bought. The Light Matrix was designed in-house, hardware and software, and so was the photo booth system. When something here feels different to the venue down the road, that is usually why.

Still a small team. Still adding to it. Our regulars will tell you Paradigm Zone is never the same place twice.

Come and see it for yourself. Here's where to find us and when we're open:

P.S. Been in already? Thanks for that. Every visit counts while we're still building this.

See you at Paradigm,
